) 1. Disconnect the electrical connection.

	Description	Connector
1	Boot release switch	See I11 BOOT OPENING SWITCH ( LEFT TAILGATE )

2. Undo the bolts.

1. Move the lock (1a) slightly and disconnect the electrical connection (1b).

	Description	Connector
1b	Boot lock geared motor	See N57 BOOT LOCK GEARMOTOR ( LEFT TAILGATE )

2. Keep the lock and actuator.

1. If necessary, undo the bolts (1a) and remove actuator (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Check that the lock is not damaged.If removed, place the actuator in position and secure it using the bolts.Connect the electrical connection for the actuator.Connect the rod to the lock lever.Position the lock and tighten the bolts.Connect the electrical connection.Check that the lock is working and that it is correctly matched with the striker.
