) 1. Working on the upper frame, prise seal (1a) from its seat, detaching from silicone sealant (1b).

1. Undo the bolts securing the electric motor.2. Remove the electric motor.3. Undo the guide bolts.4. Remove the guides complete with traction cable.5. Undo the bolt.6. Remove the motor mounting complete with traction cable tubes.

1. If necessary, prise retaining hooks (1a) out of seats (1b) and (1c) on the guides.

1. Working on the lower cover, unscrew the bolts of one of the blind guides.2. Remove the guide.3. Press the studs (3a) on the winder and disengage them from the mountings (3b).4. Recover the sunblind complete with winder.5. Recover the guide runs.

Reassembling ( Dismantling

) Check that the removed parts are undamaged.Fit the runs on the sunblind guides.Fit the winder and sunblind in its seating, engaging the studs in their mounts.Position the guide and secure with its bolts.If removed, fit the retaining hooks into their seats on the guides.Position the motor mounting complete with traction cable tubes, and secure it with the bolt. Fit the guides complete with traction cables and secure them with their bolts.

The electric motor is the continuous cycle type and therefore the motor does not have to be placed in a particular position before refitting.

Manually place the sun roof in the rear end of travel position and, in this position, fit the electric motor, fixing it with the bolts.1. Clean the seating of the quarter glass carefully using compressed air and degrease thoroughly using heptane.2. Carefully clean the bottom of the sea with compressed air and thoroughly degrease with heptane.3. Apply the appropriate silicone product along the entire perimeter.

4. Position the seal in its seating.

Place the clear section against the seal for a moment to check its position.

Wait at least 5 hours before opening the sunroof.
