Removing ( Refitting

)

Op. 5580C18 AIR BAG MODULE - R+R

Before working on the Air Bag system, follow the safety instructions for working on the system very carefully Op. 5580C AIR BAG SYSTEM

Undo the bolts (1a) securing the module (1b).
Disconnect the electrical connection for the module.
Remove the module and bridge (3a) releasing it from the band (3b).

Refitting ( Removing

)

Check that the module is not damaged.
Position the module, connect the electrical connection and tighten the bolts.
