2891807 - 5040A40 air conditioner condenser - r+r

Follow the safety instructions (  See assembly 5040A   air conditioner coolant circuit ).
Removing ( Refitting ) Drain the coolant fluid (refer to op.   5040A10  Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling ). 1. Undo the bolts.2. Disconnect the pipe connectors.
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
3. Undo the bolts fixing the condenser to the radiator.4. Undo the bolts fixing the radiator to the bodyshell.5. With the assistance of a second operator, lift the radiator (5a) slightly to release the retainers (5b), then move it towards the engine in order to be able to extract the condenser (5c).
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the condenser is intact and is not damaged and does not have deposits of dirt on the finned surface.Reposition the condenser and the radiator.Tighten the bolts fixing the radiator to the bodyshell.Tighten the bolts fixing the condenser to the radiator.Connect the pipe connectors.
Replace the O-rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
Tighten the bolt to the recommended torque.

Repressurize the coolant fluid (refer to op.   5040A10  Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling ).
