186002991 - E2031 REAR FOG LAMPS - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Operational description

The electronic device located inside the switch unit H90 controls the rear fog lamps circuit. The button - located in the unit H90 sends the activating signal to this device which receives an ignition controlled supply INT (pin 6 of connector A of H90 ) from the line protected by fuse F1 of the junction unit B1 . The device controls the supply for the rear fog lamps (from pin 7 of connector A) located in the rear light clusters F30 and F31on if one of the two enablement signals from the dipped headlights or the fog lights arrives. The first signal (dipped headlights on) arrives from the steering column switch unit H5 at pin 8 of connector A: it is an ignition operated supply (INT) for the line protected by fuse F8 of the junction unit B1 . The second signal (fog lights on) is supplied by the internal circuit of unit H90 . With the rear fog lamps on a signal also lights up the operating button. The entire control unit H90 is lit up by an ignition operated supply (INT/A) from the line (pin 5 of connector A) protected by shunt fuse B27 .
