2891811 - 5040A54 pipe from dehydrating filter to expansion valve - r+r

Follow the safety instructions (  See assembly 5040A   air conditioner coolant circuit ).
Removing ( Refitting ) Drain the coolant fluid (refer to op.   5040A10  Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling ).  - 5530B10  battery - r+r - 5530B52  Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R. - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace - 1048A12  air cleaner support - r r with air cleaner assembly removed  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r 1. Working in the engine compartment, release the electrical connections from the support, moving them in the direction of the arrow.2. Undo the bolt fixing the pipes to the evaporator.3. Disconnect the pipes (3a) and recover the bush (3b).
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
1. Undo the bolt.2. Move the pipe slightly.3. Disconnect the connector from the drier filter.4. Release the pipe (4a) from the retaining bands (4b) and remove it.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the pipe is not damaged and that there are no cracks which affect the seal.Reposition the pipe and connect it to the retaining bands.
Replace the O-rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
Connect the connector to the drier filter, then position the pipe and fix the assembly using the bolt.

Connect the pipe connectors to the evaporator, position the bush and secure them using the bolt.

Secure the electrical connections to the support.  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r  - 1048A12  air cleaner support - r r with air cleaner assembly removed - 1048A10  air cleaner filtering element - replace - 5530B10  battery - r+r - 5530B52  Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R. Repressurize the coolant fluid (refer to op.   5040A10  Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling ).
