Functional description

The M80 central locking control unit controls the operation of the circuit. The M80 control unit (pin +) is supplied directly by the battery via the line protected by the special fuse B19 ; pin (-) provides the reference earth.

Control unit M80 receives input signals coming from locks N50 and N51:

• for locking, if the earth signal goes from pin 2 to pin 3 of M80 ;
• for unlocking, if the earth signal goes from pin 3 to pin 2 of M80 .

The same signals arrive from pins 5 and 6 of the receiver for the remote control M35 . On versions with an alarm, the same signals arrive from pins 5 and 6 of the receiver for the remote control M35 .

In accordance with the logic illustrated previously, control unit M80 simultaneously controls the two front locks N50 and N51 and the rear locks N55 and N56 from pins 1M and 2M:

• locking signal; 12V from pin 2M and earth to pin 1M
• unlocking signal: 12V from pin 1M and earth to pin 1M
