2892532 - E3032 DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENT - Functional description (ELX setup, Right hand drive)
Functional description
The two-way switch controlling mirrors
H31
operates electrical motors located in the right and left electrically-operated
door mirrors
P60
and
P61
respectively.
The switch is supplied when the ignition
is switched on (INT/A) by the line for fuse
B27
at pins
4 and 1 of
H31
, whilst pin 2 is earthed.
Operating the switch in one direction or
the other, sends one of the two motors a positive and an earth signal,
thereby determining the direction of rotation. The motors which
adjust the vertical position are connected to pin 5 of the mirrors
P60
and
P61
. The motors which adjust the horizonatl position
are connected to pin 3 of the mirrors
P60
and
P61
.
According to the selector position, either
the left motors (output signals from pins 8 and 9 of control
H31
) or the right motors (output signals from pins 7 and 10 of
H31
) are connected; the common supply comes out of pin 3 for
H31
and is connected to pin 4 of the motors.
The mirrors are folded by motors connected
to pins 1 and 2 of
P60
and
P61
, which receive
the command from pins 5 and 11, (right) and 6 and 12 (left) respectively
for
H31
.
Switch
H31
is lit when the ignition
is switched on (INT/A).
