Functional description

The electric windows relay J65 controls the operation of the front electric windows circuit. The electric windows relay is supplied by the direct line from the battery through the maxifuse J/B2 for B5 . The coil for the relay is supplied when the ignition is switched on (INT) from the line for fuse F8 for the junction unit B1 and is always earthed: the relay is therefore always energized when the ignition is switched on (INT). In this way, the line protected by fuses B22 , for the driver's side and B23 for the passenger side, supply the switches H40 (driver's front electric window switch in the front driver's door), H41 (passenger front electric window switch in the passenger side front door) and H50 (electric window switch in passenger side front door) wih the LEDs which light up the actual switches. Operating the switches sends a supply and an earth to the left electric window motor N60 or the right one N61 ; reversing the signals according to the contact which is closed, determines the direction of rotation of the actual motor.
