2888410 - K82 PASSENGER AIR BAG DISABLED WARNING LIGHT

The passenger air bag disabled warning light comes on upon start-up and stays lit for longer than 4 seconds. (carry out the initial control unit test)
If the manual switch is turned to OFF, the warning light should stay on

Check the passenger air bag manual cut-out switch is working properly:

  • when the device is switched to ON, the control unit should show a resistance of 100 Ohm;
  • when the device is switched to OFF, the control unit should show a resistance of 400 Ohm.
