 | Place two wooden blocks at the base of the tank to prevent it from being accidentally overturned. If it is overturned, the oil in the pump could come out and cause damage to the surrounding components. |
| Before carrying out any operations, make sure that the tank is sent to the special service centres for draining and incapacitating. |
| During this last operation if there is a strong smell of LPG, stop the procedure immediately and send the tank to the organization responsible for draining it. |
 | Do not use compressed air to clean the housing for the 80% valve on the tank. Any teflon residues which have not been removed could fall inside the tank coming into contact with the pump and adversely affecting its operation. |

1. Wrap teflon bands several times around the threaded part of the
80% valve, working in the opposite direction to the tightening direction
of the actual valve on the tank.Leave the first threads uncovered to allow
the 80% valve to fit in the housing on the tank.2. Fully tighten the 80% valve taking care to position it with the
word TOP on the outer hexagon of the valve at the top. | Tighten the 80% valve with the tank at a slight angle to avoid contact with the inner partitions. |

| The 80% valve is a safety element so great care should be taken to position it correctly with the word TOP facing upwards to ensure the correct operation of the internal float. |
