Removing ( Refitting )
Place two wooden blocks at the base of the tank to prevent it accidentally turning. If it rolls over,: the oil in the pump could come out and impair pump operation
Before servicing, ensure the tank has been sent to the appropriate centres for emptying and rendering inert, after agreement with T.D.A. (Italy)/Teseo (abroad).
Before working on the float, drain any residual air from the tank in accordane with the procedure described.  - 1043A08  lpg tank check seal
If a strong smell of LPG should be smelt during this operation, suspend the procedure immediately and send the tank back to the company responsible for drainage. A slight smell of LPG should, however, be considered normal.
1. Loosen the retaining bolts (1) and open retaining springs (1b).2. Remove the LPG level sensor from its housing.
1. Unscrew the float retaining screws gradually and in a crosswise sequence to vent any pressurised air residues and remove the float completely together with the retaining ring.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Place the float on the tank so that the wording 'TOP' is facing up, then tighten the float retaining bolts to the specified torque.
