Removing ( Refitting )
Place two wooden blocks at the base of the tank to prevent it accidentally turning. If it rolls over,: the oil in the pump could come out and impair pump operation.
1. Undo retaining bolt (1a) and position the cover with built-in control unit (1b) to one side.
1. Undo the bolt securing the LPG return pipe to the tank.2. Disconnect electrical connectors (2a) and (2b) and earth lead (2c).

Spread the delivery and return pipes along their entire length and on the pump valve connectors with a foam-producing solution (made by BRC - code 90AV99000052 or similar product) to check for leaks.
This operation is necessary to check assembly is correct and ensure the delivery and return pipes are undamaged before the tank is refitted in the vehicle. The tank would have to be removed again if the pipes needed replacing.
Connect the intake solenoid coil to a battery a certain distance away by means of leads. The intake solenoid then opens to allow air in the tank to escape; at the same time, air flows back in through the return pipe to open the valve.Check for leaks in the delivery and return pipes. If leaks occur, check the correct installation (or condition) of the affected pipes after removing the connector used to connect pipes and drain pressure from the tank  - 1043A08  lpg tank check seal ; then repeat the leak test. If the leak test is OK, before refitting the tank to the car remove the connector used to connected the pipes and drain pressure from the tank, without disconnecting the pump delivery and return pipes  - 1043A08  lpg tank check seal . Fit the cover with the control unit incorporated and tighten the fixing bolt.
Check the seal between the cover and seat on the pump. For this purpose, all internal components must be positioned neatly.
