The clutch on all vehicles is the dry, single
plate type with flexible coupling springs and a thrust release.
With the exception of the Selespeed versions the clutch release
is hydraulically operated through a system known as CSC.On the Selespeed versions the clutch release
takes place via conventional linkage controlled by the electro-hydraulic
unit [ Characteristic
of working principle 2127A hydraulic transmission external linkage]
fitted on the gearbox casing which also controls the gear selection
and engagement. On the Selespeed versions, bushes made from
an anti-friction material are used for the thrust bearing sleeve
operating fork in order to improve the efficiency of the movement.
