2. Undo the connectors (2a) and (2b) and remove the rigid pipes from the master cylinder to the ABS hydraulic unit (2c).3. Undo the connectors (3a) and disconnect the rigid pipes from the hydraulic control unit to the brake calipers (3b), hydraulic unit side.4. Release the ABS pipes from the attachments.
1. Remove the stops (1a) and remove the hydraulic and electronic unit of the ABS system (1b).
Refitting ( Removing ) .
The letters indicating to which caliper and to which brake pump outlet they should be connected are stamped on the control unit at each outlet.RR = to the right rear brake (pipe marked with a light blue coloured band) LR = to the left rear brake (pipe marked with a green coloured band) RF = to the right front caliper (pipe marked with a yellow coloured band) LF = to the left front caliper (pipe marked with a white coloured band) MC1 = from the main circuit/flange side pump (pipe marked with a black or pink coloured band when the pipe polyamide resin is black) MC2 = from the secondary circuit/front pump (pipe marked with a brown coloured band).
Place the ABS hydraulic and electronic unit back in its housing and secure it with its attachments. 1. Connect the rigid pipes from the hydraulic unit to the brake calipers (1a), hydraulic unit side, and tighten the connectors (1b) to the specified torque.
