Removing ( Refitting )  - 7040B10  load platform (luggage platform) trim - r+rLift the rear seat cushions.1. Working from the luggage compartment, undo the squab bracket retaining bolts.2. Undo the bolts securing the squab to the floor.
Use hexagonal splined wrench N. 7 (USAG 233 S or equivalent).
1. Only for right squab Undo the bolt and remove the end of the seat belt.2. Undo the bolt securing the squab to the floor.
Use hexagonal splined wrench N. 7 (USAG 233 S or equivalent).
3. Remove the squab.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the squab is not damaged.Position the squab.1. Do up bolts (1a) and (1b) securing the squab to the floor.
Front bolt (1a) must be as specified by the manufacturer because a longer bolt could interfere with fuel tank (1c).
2. Tighten the squab bracket bolts.3. Tighten the bolts securing the squab to the floor.

4. Only for right squab. Position the end of the centre seat belt and tighten the bolt.

1. Loosen the catch striker screws, then do up to ensure the striker can move. Permitted adjustment movements are indicated by arrows. Engage the squab while allowing the striker to centre on the catch.Release the squab and lower.2. Do up the striker bolts.
Ensure the squab is engaged properly.Only for right squab. Check that the central rear seat belt is working properly.
