) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF postition, then disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Proceed with the removal - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r . 1. Undo the nut for the upper alternator fixing bolt.2. Undo bolts (2a) and remove alternator bracket (2b).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

2. Undo and remove the engine oil pressure warning light switch.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the engine oil pressure warning light switch in its seating and tighten it to the recommended torque.

Connect the electrical connection to the engine oil pressure warning light switch.Place the lower alternator mounting bracket back in its housing and fix it using the bolts.Tighten the nut on the alternator top bolt. Proceed with the refitting - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r .Connect the battery terminal (-).Remove the car from the ramp.
