) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Proceed with the removal - 1076B26 intermediate exhaust silencer - r+r emission control versions . 1. Remove the rear exhaust silencer, releasing it from the flexible mountings.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and the bolt (1b) and remove the exhaust pipe front heat shield (1c).

1. Release the handbrake cable from the mounting bracket.2. Remove the retaining springs (2a) and remove the intermediate heat shield (2b).

1. Remove the retaining springs (1a) and remove the rear heat shield (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the rear heat shield back in its housing and fasten it using the retaining springs.Place the intermediate heat shield back in its housing and fasten it using the retaining springs.Fasten the handbrake cable to the mounting bracket.Place the front heat shield for the exhaust pipe back in its housing and fasten it using the nuts and the bolt.Place the rear exhaust silencer back in its housing securing it to the flexible mountings.Proceed with the refitting - 1076B26 intermediate exhaust silencer - r+r emission control versions .Remove the car from the ramp.
