) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF postition, then disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Proceed with the removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r . 1. Disconnect the lower coolant outlet hose from the radiator and drain the engine coolant.

Manually press the springs and remove the hose's rapid attachment.

Recover the coolant using a suitable container.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air flow meter.

Disconnect the electrical wiring for the flow meter from the fastening on the air intake sleeve.2. Disconnect the oil vapour recirculation pipe from the air intake duct.3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the air intake hose (3b) complete with air flow meter (3c).

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the engine coolant temperature sensor.

2. Disconnect the coolant return pipe to the climate control heater, thermostat side.3. Disconnect the coolant return pipe to the engine coolant reservoir, thermostat side.4. Disconnect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator, thermostat side.5. Disconnect the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, thermostat side.6. Undo the bolts (6a) and remove the thermostat (6b) complete with gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the thermostat, complete with gasket, back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Connect the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, thermostat side.Connect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator, thermostat side.Connect the coolant return pipe to the engine coolant reservoir, thermostat side.Connect the coolant supply pipe to the climate control heater, thermostat side.Connect the electrical connection to the engine coolant temperature sensor.Refit the air intake hose with air flow meter and secure with collars.Connect the oil vapour recirculation pipe to the air intake duct.Connect the electrical connection to the air flow meter and secure the electrical wiring to the fastening on the air intake sleeve.Connect the lower coolant outlet hose to the radiator.Proceed with the refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r .Connect the battery terminal (-).Refill the engine cooling system with coolant - 0010T20 coolant change .Remove the car from the ramp.
