Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Proceed with removal  - 5530B10  battery - r+r .Proceed with removal  - 5530B52  Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R. .Proceed with removal  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. .Remove the protective cap on the brake caliper bleed valve. Connect the collection system (pipe and reservoir) to the bleed valve on the brake caliper. Operate the brake pedal until the brake-clutch fluid reservoir is empty. 1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the low brake-clutch fluid warning light switch.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit.

3. Undo the connectors (3a) and (3b) and remove the rigid pipes from the master cylinder to the ABS hydraulic unit (3c).4. Undo the connectors (4a) and disconnect the rigid pipes from the hydraulic unit to the brake calipers (4b), hydraulic unit side.5. Release the ABS pipes from the attachments.
1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the VDC system pressure sensor.

2. Remove the stops (2a) and remove the ABS hydraulic and electronic unit (2b).
Refitting ( Removing ) .
The letters indicating to which caliper and to which brake pump outlet they should be connected at stamped on the control unit at each outlet.RR = to the right rear brake (pipe marked with a light blue coloured band) LR = to the left rear brake (pipe marked with a green coloured band) RF = to the right front caliper (pipe marked with a yellow coloured band) LF = to the left front caliper (pipe marked with a white coloured band) MC1 = from the main circuit/flange side pump (pipe marked with a black or pink coloured band when the pipe polyamide resin is black) MC2 = from the secondary circuit/front pump (pipe marked with a brown coloured band).
Place the ABS hydraulic and electronic unit back in its housing and secure it with its attachments. Connect the electrical connection to the VDC system pressure sensor.1. Connect the rigid pipes from the hydraulic unit to the brake calipers (1a), hydraulic unit side, and tighten the connectors (1b) to the specified torque.

2. Secure the rigid pipes from the hydraulic unit to the brake calipers to the attachments. 3. Place in their seatings the rigid pipes from the master cylinder to the ABS hydraulic unit (3a) and tighten the connectors (3b) and (3c) to the recommended torque.

4. Connect the electrical connection to the A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic control unit.5. Connect the electrical connection to the low brake-clutch fluid level warning light.
Proceed with refitting  - 5530B52  Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R. .Proceed with refitting  - 5530B10  battery - r+r .Bleed the air from the hydraulic braking system  - 3330A14  HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM - Bleed air .Proceed with refitting  - 4450B10  Front WHEEL (one) - R.R. .Remove the car from the ramps.
