Removing ( Refitting ) Raise the rear seat cushion.1. Lower the squab and undo the load platform retaining studs using the appropriate tool.

3. Unscrew the bolt.4. Remove the mounting ring.5. Unscrew the protection retaining bolts.6. Remove the protection.7. Remove the rear cover.
1. Remove the cover (1a) around the edge of the squab, only in the area of the engagement device (1b).
1. Manually re-engage the lock.2. Move the cover with padding slightly.3. Disconnect from the lock the cable (3a) controlling the locking pin and (right seat only) the cable (3b) controlling the seat belt winder. 4. Unscrew the bolt.5. Remove the engagement device.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the engagement device is not damaged.Position the engagement device.Tighten the bolt.1. Release the lock (1a) lifting the button (1b).2. Connect to the lock the cable controlling the locking pin (2a) and (right seat) the cable (2b) controlling the seat belt winder.
To facilitate the re-engagement of the locking pin control cable (2a), first make the locking pin go back in.
Fit the cover with the padding.Fit the cover along the perimeter of the squab.Position the rear cover and fix it with the retaining buttons.Position the protection and fix it using the bolts.Position the mounting ring and fix it using the bolt.Fit the load compartment trim and secure to the squab with retaining studs.Carry out the following checks on the correct operation of the central seat belt winder and locking pin. Move the right seat squab to the vertical position without engaging the llock: in this position the winder must be locked. Engage the squab: in this position, the winder must operate correctly.Also check that the locking pin (located between the two seats) enters in its housing correctly.
