The system for the horns is supplied through
the horn relay T3 of the engine compartment control unit
B1B
from the direct line from the battery through fuse F3 located in
junction unit B1A.
The coil of the relay is energized by an
earth signal when one of the steering switches is closed. The relay
thereby supplies the high tone horn

and the low tone
horn

The connection for the horn contact is via
the clock spring connector

, which also transmits the
signals for the driver's Air Bag and the steering wheel controls
(for radio and telephone)
