Current developments

These engines are fitte with ''Bosch Common Rail EDC-15C' high pressure electronic injection systems for fast diesel engines totally managed by an electronic control unit.

Performance

This engine is able to provide the following performance:

  • maximum power 85 KW CEE at 4000 rpm
  • maximum torque 275 Nm CEE at 2000 rpm.

Devices adopted

These engines are fitted with the following emission control devices:

  • exhaust system with oxidising catalytic converter;
  • E.G.R. exhaust gas recirculation system
  • crankcase vapour/gas recirculation system.

COMPOSITION

STRUCTURE

The unit comprises the engine and all the systems required for its operation:

  • fuel system;
  • air supercharging system;
  • engine cooling system;
  • exhaust system with catalytic converter;
  • oil vapour recirculation system;
  • E.G.R. exhaust gas recirculation system;
  • anti-shake switch-off system.

CONSTRUCTION

Direct injection turbodiesel engine without precombustion chamber, 4 cylinders in line, 1910 c.c., twin-mass flywheel, two valves per cylinder, overhead camshaft, supercharged with variable geometry turbocharger and intercooler, Bosch Common Rail EDC-15C7 electronic fuel injection system.
