Disconnect the battery negative terminal.Proceed with the removal - 7040L40 front compartment scuff
strip - r r . 1. Undo bolts (1a) and remove the inertia swtich (1b) after disconnecting

Connect the electrical connection to the
inertia switch.Place the inertia switch back in its housing
and fix it using the bolts.Proceed with the refitting - 7040L40 front compartment scuff
strip - r r .Connect the battery terminal (-).
