Functional description

The alarm system is managed by an alarm control unit built into Body Computer M1 : it is supplied from the battery from the line of maxifuse CPL B99 - pin 18 of connector F and from a line protected by fuse F39 - pin 17 of connector F; the supply controlled by the ignition (INT) reaches pin 9.

Functional description

Body Computer M1 receives door open input signals at pin 8 (left door) and 25 (right door) of connector E (the same signals turn on the timed lights  See E2510  COURTESY LIGHTS ). The bonnet lid is controlled by switch I10 , which is connected to pin 24 of connector A of M1 , while the boot lid is controlled by switch I11 , which is connected to pin 36 of connector E (the same switch turns on the boot light  See E2520  GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHT via a different contact. Siren P90 is supplied by Body Computer M1 , from pin 34 of connector A, and is connected to pin 25 via a dedicated serial line. Volumetric sensors K62 are supplied by Body Computer M1 , from pin 39 of connector E, and connected via a dedicated serial line to pin 7. Aerial receiver P93 sends Body Computer M1 a signal controlling the doors and also the alarm signal by connecting to pins 21 and 31 of connector A. A deterrent led control signal is sent from Body Computer M1, from pin 14 of connector C, to turn on the led in the hazard light, fog lamp, rear fog lamp control unit H12 Body Computer M1 connects to instrument panel E50 via the CAN line. The computer sends a signal that turns on the door open warning light when required.
