3025416 - 5040A40 air conditioner condenser - r+r

Follow the safety instructions ( See subassembly 5040   AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS ).
Removing ( Refitting ) Drain the coolant ( - 5040A10  Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling ). - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r - 7210E10  R.R. FRONT BUMPER1. Undo the bolt fixing the radiator/condenser upper support.2. Move the radiator/condenser assembly slightly backwards.
1. Undo the bolts fixing the air duct.2. Remove the air duct downwards.
1. Undo the bolts for the pipe connectors.2. Disconnect the connectors.
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
3. Undo the bolts fixing the condenser to the radiator.4. Remove the condenser downwards.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the condenser is intact and is not damaged and does not have deposits of dirt on the finned surface.Position the condenser.Tighten the bolts fixing the condenser to the radiator.Connect the pipe connectors.
Replace the O-rings for the connectors.
Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid.
Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
Tighten the bolt to the recommended torque.

Position the duct and secure it using the bolts.Position the radiator/condenser assembly and tighten the bolt fixing the upper support. - 7210E10  R.R. Removing ( Refitting ) Observe the following precaution.

 - 7025A12  Engine front sound insulation COVER - R.R. - 7025A14  Bonnet LID - R.R.Drain the coolant ( - 0010T84  coolant for air conditioning system dehydrate and recharge ). - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r - 7055B64  Engine compartment DUST shield in front wheel arch (one), left or right - R.R. - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. - 7210E10  R.R. FRONT BUMPER1. Undo the bolt fixing the radiator/condenser upper support.2. Move the radiator/condenser assembly slightly backwards.
1. Working in front of the right front wheel, undo the bolt fixing the air duct.2. Remove the air duct.
1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the power assisted steering fluid pipe (1b) to the side.2. Undo the bolts and disconnect the connectors for the climate control system pipes from the condenser.
Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.
1. Release the retaining buttons for the air duct using the special tool.

2. Undo the bolts fixing the air duct to the radiator.3. Move the profiles for the air duct (3a) slightly and undo the bolts (3b) fixing the condenser.4. Remove the condenser (4a) and the air duct (4b) together.
Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the condenser is intact and is not damaged and does not have deposits of dirt on the finned surface.Position the condenser and the air duct together.Tighten the bolts fixing the condenser.Undo the bolts fixing the air duct to the radiator.Engage the air duct retaining buttons.
Replace the O-rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A refrigerant. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
Connect the connectors for the climate control system pipes and tighten the bolts.
