) Position the vehicle on the ramp.Proceed with removal - 1076B18 rigid section of exhaust pipe between catalytic converter and silencer - r + r .1. Remove the rear exhaust silencer, releasing it from the flexible mountings.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and the bolt (1b) and remove the exhaust pipe front heat shield (1c).

1. Release the handbrake cable from the mounting bracket.2. Release the retaining clips (2a) and remove the intermediate heat shield for the exhaust pipe (2b).

1. Release the retaining clips (1a) and remove the rear heat shield for the exhaust pipe (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the rear heat shield for the exhaust pipe back in its housing and secure it using the retaining clips.Place the intermediate heat shield for the exhaust pipe back in its housing and secure it using the retaining clips.Fasten the handbrake cable to the mounting bracket.Place the front heat shield for the exhaust pipe back in its housing and fasten it using the bolt and the nuts.Place the rear exhaust silencer back in its housing securing it to the flexible mountings.Proceed with refitting - 1076B18 rigid section of exhaust pipe between catalytic converter and silencer - r + r .Remove the car from the ramps.
