3026049 - 1040AA Check supply voltage and absorption current

Check that the supply voltage to the pump on the pump connector is 12V.Measure the pump absorption current by positioning the ammeter clip for the Examiner on the pump supply cable (on the fuse box or directly on the pump inlet cable.  See E5050  DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENTThe current measured should be between 2 and 10 Ampere.
