Engine oil supply circuit

On the Z16XEP engine the oil filter and the dipstick are located at the front.The oil pressure sensor is secured to the front of the crankcase near the compressor.The lubrication on the Z16XEP engine is illustrated in the diagram below.

Engine oil pump

The oil pump module is built-in, together with the coolant pump, in the crankcase cover.The pump is driven directly by the crankshaft with a relief valve controlling the system pressure.
