3362455 - 1040A70 submerged pump assembly complete with level guage control - r + r

Removing ( Refitting )  - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Tilt the back seat cushion to gain access to the submerged pump cover, then unscrew the retaining bolts and raise the protective cover. Disconnect the electrical connection of submerged pump (2a) and remove protective cover (2b).

1. Disconnect the fuel outlet and inlet pipes from the quick release fittingsUse tool (2a) to unscrew lock collar (2b), then remove the fuel pump (2c) together with the level gauge.

Refitting ( Removing ) Place the fuel pump in the special housing in the tank.Fit the lock-nut and use the tool to tighten to torque.

Replace the gasket under the fuel pump and take care, when refitting, to check that the gasket is correctly positioned in order to ensure the seal.

Connect the quick-release fittings for the fuel supply and return pipes.Connect the fuel pump and level gauge electrical connection.

Tighten the fuel pump protective cover retaining bolts. Refit the rear seat cushion. Connect the battery negative terminal.Position the vehicle on the ramp. - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.
