Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.    Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.    Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R    Op. 1072C16 EXHAUST MANIFOLD WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER - R.R.    Op. 1020A30 ENGINE OIL DRAIN PLUG - REPLACE1. Undo engine block retaining bolts and oil pump barrel retaining bolts (1b)2. Undo the lower bolts fixing the gearbox to the engine oil sump.3. Use the tool (3a) to remove the oil sump (3b)

Refitting ( Removing ) Clean the oil sump and crankcase surfaces thoroughly to remove all traces of sealant.Apply silicone sealant around the perimeter of the engine oil sump.Fit engine block sump and secure it using the nuts and bolts.
