CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS

The engine exhaust gases flow through the manifold (1) to the three-way catalytic converter (2) (see 1080) to which it is connected via the exhaust pipe flange.There is a flexible element (3) in the front section of the exhaust pipe to restrict the transmission of vibrations.The rear exhaust pipe section consists of two silencers (4).Special guards prevent heat radiating toward the body.The various components are supported by means of supports (5) and flexible seals (6) fastened to the underbody.
