Make sure that the sensor is the correct one for the engine type;Check that the sensor is not distorted, broken or bent which would alter its original shape;Using a multimeter, check that the resistance value for the hot wire at the sensor connection pins is between 5.50 and 6.10 ohm at ambient temperature;With the multimeter positioned on the 20MO scale, check the insulation of the pins towards the metal exterior of the sensor.
