3362906 - 4110A10 steering wheel - r+r for replacement or checks

Removing ( Refitting )  - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminalPosition the steering wheel so that the wheels are as parallel as possible to the longitudinal axis of the car. - 5580C18  air bag module - r+r .

Closely follow the safety regulations established for this operation (  See assembly 5580C   air bag system ).

1. Disconnect the connector between the clock spring and the controls unit on the steering wheel.

2. Remove the cap covering the fixing nut (2a) and undo the fixing nut (2b).3. Remove the steering wheel.

If necessary, use a suitable rubber hammer.

Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the steering wheel on the steering column so that the reference stamped on the steering wheel hub lines up with the one on the steering column.

Three references are present on the steering column: two close to each other and another diametrically opposite. The reference which has to line up wit h the one on the steering wheel hub is the one furthest from the other two.

Tighten the steering wheel nut to the specified torque and press on the covering cap.

Connect the connector between clock spring and controls unit to the steering wheel.
