FOLLOW ALL THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (see assembly 5580C - AIR BAG SYSTEM).

1. Unscrew the facia bolts near the upper glove compartment.2. Unscrew bolts (2a) and (2b) securing the facia near the central facia.3. Undo the bolts securing the passenger airbag module bracket to the body inside the upper glove compartment.

1. Unscrew nuts (1a) and move the facia trim slightly away from the support beam to allow removal of bracket (1b) supporting the passenger airbag module.

1. Unscrew the bolts securing the facia upper glove compartment flap.2. Remove the flap of the facia upper glove compartment.

Refitting ( Removing

) Position the upper glove compartment flap to the facia and secure by tightening the bolts.With the facia trim moved away from its mounting crossmember, introduce the passenger airbag module bracket into the upper glove compartment.Secure the passenger airbag module bracket and secure with bolts.Place the dashboard trim in position.Tighen the bolts securing the passenger airbag module mounting bracket to the body.Tighten the bolts securing the upper facia trim to the crossmember near the upper glove compartment and the central console to the recommended torque.
