Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.1. Release the retaining springs (1a) and open the cover (1b).2. Remove the filter cartridge. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit a new filter cartridge.

Before fitting the new filter element, clean the filter casing thoroughly, suctioning any particles of dust or impurities to prevent them adversely affecting the operation of the air flow meter. Take care during the fitting operation that the gasket is correctly positioned and does not get damaged.

Close the cover and secure it using the retaining clips.    Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.Remove the vehicle from the lift.
