) Release the gear lever protective boot.

Before removing and refitting the gear lever knob, protect the contact areas betwen the knob and the tool with felt, bodywork tape, etc. to prevent superficial damage.

1. Position the tool as illustrated in the diagram.

2. Undo the movement bolt (2a) until the knob (2b) is completely removed from the lever (2c).

Refitting ( Removing

2. Tighten the movement bolt (2a) until the knob (2b) is fully fitted on the lever (2c).
