Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp.Raise the car. - 4450B11  WHEEL (one) rear - R.R.Partly compress the suspension using a hydraulic jack.1. Unscrew the lower shock absorber retaining bolt. Lower the hydraulic jack and remove it.Lower the vehicle.1. Working from the boot, remove the guard for the shock absorber attachment to the bodyshell.2. Using the special tool to lock the shock absorber stem (2a), undo the nut (2b).

Raise the car and remove the shock absorber. Refitting ( Removing ) Lower the car to a height of about 1.5 m from the ground.Position the shock absorber.Working from the boot, tighten the nut on the shock absorber stem.Raise the car.Position a hydraulic jack under the suspension and partially compress it until you can tighten the shock absorber bottom bolt.Tighten to torque the shock absorber bottom bolt.

Remove the hydraulic jack from under the shock absorber. - 4450B11  WHEEL (one) rear - R.R.Lower the car from the ramp.Working in the boot and locking the shock absorber, tighten the shock absorber nut to torque.
