Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Open the bonnet and support it in an appropriate manner.2. Using a screwdriver, release the retaining springs (without removing them).3. Release and remove the telescopic strut. Refitting ( Removing ) Check that the telescopic strut is undamaged.Refit the telescopic strut, press-fitting the ends of the anchoring pins into the housings.Fit the retaining clips on both ends.Check that the telescopic strut is working properly.Close the bonnet lid.
