CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS
The aluminium alloy sump has the task of collecting the oil for lubricating the engine and is fastened to the crankcase by bolts. A bead of silicon sealant guarantees the seal.The timing and flywheel side covers have oil seals to guarantee the crankshaft seal.The timing side cover makes up the support for the oil filter and incorporates the oil pump (see subassembly 1084).
