Undo the fixing bolt (1a) and disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe (1b) from the tappet cover.2. Undo the retaining bolts.3. Remove the tappet cover.

Refitting ( Removing

) Clean any residues of sealant from the tappet cover and the contact plane for the cylinder head.Renew the sealant on the cylinder head plane and the tappet cover.Fit the tappet cover tightening the bolts to torque.

Connect the engine oil vapour pipe to the tappet cover.Restore the electrical wiring for the ignition coils and secure it to the retaining bands.
