Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.Have a suitable container for collecting the coolant ready.Disconnect the lower radiator pipe and drain the engine coolant into the container underneath.1. Undo the retaining bolts.2. Disconnect the bands (2a) and remove the rigid section of the heat exchanger coolant pipe (2b).

1. Disconnect the engine coolant pipes from the rigid pipe.2. Undo the bolts fixing the rigid water inlet pipe from the cylinder head.3. Remove the rigid pipe from the engine compartment.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the rigid pipe in the housing on the cylinder head.Tighten the bolts fixing the rigid pipe to the cylinder head to torque.

Connect the engine coolant pipes to the rigid pipe.Fit the rigid section of the coolant pipe to the heater.Tighten the bolts securing the rigid pipe to the water pump inlet pipe.
