Unscrew the retaining nut.2. Separate the pipe from the flange on the condenser.

1. Undo the bolts securing the fuel filter to the bodyshell.2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the water-in-filter sensor.

Move the fuel filter outside the working area.

1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the pipe connecting the condenser to the evaporator from the expansion valve (1b).2. Undo the nut (2a) fixing the pipe connecting the condenser to the compressor from the expansion valve (2b).

The pipe connecting the condenser to the compressor must be detached from the expansion valve in order to facilitate the removal of the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator.

1. Disconnect the coolant recirculation pipe.2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and release the engine coolant reservoir (2b) from the housing.

1. Undo the fixing nut (1a) and release the support for the fuel pipes (1b) from the housing in the bodyshell.2. Undo the fixing nut (2a) and release the pipe for the air conditioning system (2b) from the bodyshell.

1. Remove the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator from the upper part of the engine compartment.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the pipe from the condenser to the evaporator in the upper part of the engine compartment.Tighten the nuts fixing the air conditioning system pipe mounting bracket and the anti-evaporation and fuel pipe mounting bracket.Fit the engine coolant reservoir and tighten the fixing bolts.Connect the recirculation pipe to the coolant reservoir.Connect the pipes to the expansion valve and tighten the fixing nuts.Position the fuel filter in its housing on the bodyshell and connect the electrical connection for the water presence sensor.

Tighten to torque the bolts securing the fuel filter to the bodyshell.
