Removing ( Refitting ) - 5040A10 Air conditioning refrigerant CIRCUIT - Draining and Refilling  - 5530B56  BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.Disconnect the battery negative terminal. - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r - 4450B04  right front wheel r r - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. - 1092G10  single engine belt r r - 1092G21  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - r rwith belt removedLower the lift.1. Undo the bolts securing the fuel filter to the bodyshell.2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the water-in-filter sensor.

Move the fuel filter outside the working area. 1. Undo the nut (1a) fixing the pipe connecting the condenser to the compressor from the expansion valve (1b).2. Undo the nut (2a) fixing the pipe connecting the condenser to the evaprorator from the expansion valve (2b).

The pipe between the condenser and the evaporator must be disconnected from the expansion valve in order to facilitate the removal of the pipe connecting the condenser to the compressor.

1. Unscrew the retaining nuts.2. Disconnect the pipes from the air conditioning compressor.  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r1. Disconnect the fuel pipe from the return manifold.2. Undo the fixing bolt and release the mounting bracket from the housing in the compressor.3. Loosen the fixing bolt and release the mounting bracket from the housing in the alternator mounting.4. Remove the pipe from the expansion valve to the compressor from the upper part of the engine compartment. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the pipe expansion valve to the compressor in the upper part of the engine compartment.Tighten the bolt fixing the bracket joining the pipe to the alternator mounting.Tighten the bolt fixing the bracket joining the pipe to the compressor mounting.Connect the fuel pipe to the return manifold. - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + rConnect the pipes to the air conditioning compressor.Connect the pipes to the expansion valve and tighten the fixing nuts.Position the fuel filter in its housing on the bodyshell and connect the electrical connection for the water presence sensor.

Tighten to torque the bolts securing the fuel filter to the bodyshell.
