3360177 - B04 STARTER MOTOR NOT WORKING / VEHICLE WITH PASSIVE ENTRY

The passive entry system works properly but engine start-up does not work when the appropriate button is used.
Once the engine start-up command is received, the steering lock node asks the body computer node for authorisation. The body computer authorises the steering lock Node only if the passive entry Node confirms the presence of a driver, using the passive entry aerials inside the car. After the steering lock Node has received authorisation, it checks for clutch/brake pedal depression by means of the relevant switch and releases the steering to send a +15 signal to the engine control node and a +50 signal to the starter motor.
