3362386 - 1004D10 POWER UNIT (MANUAL GEARBOX), REMOVED, DISMANTLE AND REASSEMBLE

Removing ( Refitting ) Position a suitable container for collecting the transmission fluid under the differential.Undo the plug and drain the transmission fluid into the container.Remove the container placed under the differential.1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the reversing light switch.

1. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the starter motor.

2. Undo the retaining bolts (2a) and remove starter motor (2b). 1. Undo the retaining nuts.2. Remove the reaction rod support. 1. Undo the retaining bolts.2. Remove the intermediate driveshaft from the support. 1. Undo the fastenings (1a) and remove the gearbox and differential (1b).2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the clutch casing (2b).Remove the clutch plate. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the clutch plate and the clutch casing centering them using a suitable tool.

Tighten the bolts fixing the clutch drip tray to the flywheel to the recommended torque.

Fit the gearbox-differential unit tightening the nuts and bolts to torque.

Fit the intermediate driveshaft in the housing and press fit it in the housing on the differential.Tighten the nuts fixing the intermediate driveshaft to the support.Fit the reaction rod support to the engine and tighten the fixing nuts to torque.

Fit the starter motor and tighten the retaining bolts to torque.

Connect the starter motor electrical wiring

Refill the gearbox and differential unit with suitable fluid.Tighten the differential oil plug to torque.
