Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp.    1076B50 exhaust pipe attachment to engine - r + r1. Undo the bolt fixing the rod to the mounting bracket.2. Undo the fixing bolt (2a) on the front suspension crossmember and remove the lower engine reaction rod (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the reaction rod in its seat and tighten the bolt securing it to the suspension beam to torque.

Tighten the bolts fixing the rod to the intermediate shaft mounting to torque.
