Removing ( Refitting ) Disconnect the battery negative terminal.1. Tilt the back seat cushion to gain access to the submerged pump cover, then unscrew the retaining bolts and raise the protective cover.2. Disconnect the electrical connection of submerged pump (2a) and remove protective cover (2b).

1. Disconnect the fuel outlet and inlet pipes from the quick release fittings2. Use tool (2a) to unscrew lock collar (2b), then remove the fuel pump (2c) together with the level gauge.

Refitting ( Removing ) Position the fuel pump in the special housing in the tank.Fit the lock collar and use the tool to tighten to torque.

Replace the gasket under the fuel pump and take care, when refitting, to check that the gasket is correctly positioned in order to ensure the seal.

Connect the quick-release fittings for the fuel supply and return pipes.Connect the electrical connection to the electric pump and level gauge.

Tighten the fuel pump protective cover retaining bolts.Refit the rear seat cushion.Connect the battery negative terminal.
