Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a lift. - 4450B04  right front wheel r r .  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the E.G.R. valve.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the air temperature and pressure sensor.

3. Disconnect the electrical connection (3a) of the fuel pressure sensor (3b).

4. Disconnect the recirculation hose from the rigid pipe. 1. Undo the bolts securing the air intak pipe to the throttle body.2. Move the air intake pipe away from the throttle body.3. Open the collars and release the vacuum pipe.4. Disconnect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe from the filler fitting. 1. Loosen the collar securing the exhaust gas water/gas heat exchanger recirculation pipe.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the E.G.R. system solenoid valve (2b) complete with pipe.Remove the gasket. 1. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the pneumatic valve on the throttle body. 1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the air chamber assembly (1b) complete with gasket (1c). Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the air chamber complete with a new gasket, and secure by tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.

Connect the engine coolant solenoid pipe to the rigid pipe.Fit the exhaust gas delivery pipe to the turbocharger.Fit the EGR system solenoid complete with gasket and pipe and secure by tightening the bolts to the specified torque.Tighten the bolts securing the collar on the exhaust gas recirculating pipe to the heat exchanger EGR valve.Connect the vacuum pipe from the pneumatic valve on the throttle body.Tighten the three bolts securing the rigid air supply pipe between the heat exchanger and the intake manifold.Connect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe to the filler fitting.Connect the electrical connections from the glow plugs.
