Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a lift. - 4450B04  right front wheel r r .  - 1016A10  sound-proofing cover - r + r . Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

Disconnect the rapid attachment for the fuel return pipe from the fuel filter, return manifold pipe side. 2. Disconnect the rapid attachment for the fuel return pipe to the tank, fuel return manifold pipe side. 3. Disconnect the pressure pump fuel return pipe, fuel return manifold pipe side.4. Disconnect the pipe from the injectors to the fuel return manifold pipe, fuel return manifold pipe side. 1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the fuel return manifold pipe (1b).2. Unscrew the upper bolt of the engine oil dipstick. 1. Undo the connectors (1a), (1b) and remove the pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold (1c).

When refitting, fit a new pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

2. Disconnect the fuel delivery pipe from the tank from the pressure pump.3. Unscrew the nuts securing the pressure pump to the mount.4. Remove the pressure pump. Refitting ( Removing ) Fit the pressure pump and secure to the studs on the pump mount.Tighten the retaining nuts to torque.

Connect the fuel delivery pipe from the tank to the pressure pump.Connect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

Fit a new pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold and fix it using the connectors without tightening them.Tighten the connector for the pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold, pump side, to the recommended torque using a suitable spanner.

Tighten the connector for the pipe from the pressure pump to the single fuel manifold, fuel manifold side, to the recommended torque using a suitable spanner.

Fit the fuel return manifold pipe and fix it using the bolts.Connect the fuel return pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel return manifold pipe.Connect the pipe from the injectors to the fuel return manifold pipe, fuel return manifold pipe side. Connect the rapid attachment for the fuel return pipe to the tank, fuel return manifold pipe side. Connect the rapid attachment for the fuel return pipe from the fuel filter, return manifold pipe side.  - 1060E30  pressure pump pulley - r r - 1032B10  toothed timing belt - r + r for timing adjustment or replacement .  - 1032D12  timing system protective cover(s) - r + r .  - 1092G21  engine component single belt fixed tensioner - r rwith belt removed - 1092G14  engine component single belt mobile tensioner - r + r .  - 1092G10  single engine belt r r .  - 7055B42  Additional FRONT WHEEL ARCH (one), left or right - R.R. .  - 7055B54  under-engine guard - r r . Connect the battery negative terminal.
